CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 2016

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS 17 JUNE 2015

TO FACILITATE THE PROCESSING OF YOUR REGISTRATION, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PREPARE THE FILES IN ADVANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFIED FORMATS AND TO SUPPLY THE DOCUMENTS LISTED BELOW


INCOMPLETE FILES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

APPLICATION FILES FOR THE ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM ARE TO BE WRITTEN IN EITHER FRENCH OR ENGLISH. APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBMIT:

A) ADMINISTRATIVE FILE

  1. The completed application form;
  2. One photo ID (JPEG)
  3. A copy of the current passport (JPEG or PDF)
  4. A proof of residency: gas or electricity invoice (WORD or PDF)
  5. A Curriculum Vitae (WORD or PDF), 2 pages max.
  6. Two signed reference letters, dated and signed in 2015 (JPEG or PDF), by people who have a thorough knowledge of the work of the candidate (professionals, work supervisors or any French or foreign suitably qualified person). It is important to include in these letters, an artistic assessment and an evaluation of the artist’s aptitude for integration. Any letter written in a language other than French or English must be translated in French.
  7. For artists in the fields of visual and performing arts only: a letter from any partners collaborating in the project in France (artist, space, company...), based in Paris and/or its suburb (WORD or PDF)
  8. A signed formal declaration attesting that the applicant is the sole creator of the works

B) ARTISTIC FILE

  1. Every applicant must submit a single document (PDF) including a complete presentation of the project (between 3 and 5 pages) and a press review about previous works.
  2. Visual and performing artists only must provide: an artistic book with visuals (title, author, year, material, size…) and links to videos on Youtube / Vimeo or links to audiofiles on soundcloud.
  3. Writers must present extracts of their published texts or manuscripts (maximum 10 pages PDF or WORD) and one or more previous publications are to be sent by post mail to:
